This is the third outing for this sell-out event, which is fast becoming a popular fixture in the racing calendar. Organised by the same race organisers as the MBNA Chester Marathon and Essar Chester Half Marathon.
The fast course starts at Chester Racecourse and heads north-west out of the City. Wide roads allow runners to rapidly settle into race pace, as they pass near the picturesque village of Mollington before returning to the heart of Chester City centre and finishing with a spectacular backdrop of the Eastgate Clock on Eastgate Street. All finishers will receive a tech T-shirt, bespoke medal and goody bag.
There will be a two wave start for the 2020 Aldi Chester 10K to give runners the best experience on race day:
09:00 Orange Wave
09:30 Blue Wave
Both waves will include runners of all abilities to ensure there is an even spread and runners have plenty of space right across the course. Our elite field will start at the front of the Orange Wave. Runners who have achieved times of sub 40 minutes (men or sub 45 minutes (women) in 2019 or 2020 are advised to start in the Orange Wave.
Both waves follow the same route, with the same start and finish. You will be able to choose your start time during the entry process.
Before proceeding please note that you are entering the 2020 ALDI Chester 10K (6.2 miles). Once you have entered you can transfer your place to another runner, however there are no refunds or deferrals. The minimum age on race day is 15.
