The Run Your Way MBNA Chester Marathon is an alternative edition of the award winning main race, that you can complete in your own way, on your own course or using a treadmill (IT IS NOT OUR PHYSICAL EVENT, to enter the main MBNA Chester Marathon, CLICK HERE).
If, due to self-isolation, injury, illness or you're booked on to another event on or around the same day, or for any other reason you are not able to attend the main 2022 MBNA Chester Marathon event, providing you retain a valid entry, you may run the race your way by completing at least the race distance anytime between 2nd October - 31st October 2022.
If you are already entered into the main physical event and would like to run the event your way, it's really important you have transferred your race place from the main event to the 'Run Your Way 2022 MBNA Chester Marathon' before 23:59 on 1st October, otherwise you will be treated as not starting the main race (DNS). To transfer your place, click on the transfer button on your original confirmation email or log into your Nifty account.
You are not able to transfer your race place after 23:59 on 1st October.

AFTER YOUR RACE DAY you'll have experienced all the fitness and mental health benefits associated with running, plus you'll get a custom long sleeve quarter zip technical shirt, bespoke medal and any additional add-ons purchased through your race entry that have been carried over, sent to you in the post.
If you have transferred from the main race and had ordered a photo package this will be refunded. We will start to post out your medal, race shirts and hoody (if you've ordered a hoody) after the main event and after you have uploaded your evidence. sent to you in the post
Before proceeding please note that you are entering the Run Your Way 2022 MBNA Chester Marathon. Once you have entered you can not transfer your place to another race or runner and there are no refunds or deferrals.
You have opted to enter Run Your Way - 2022 MBNA Chester Marathon or transfer your entry from the main physical MBNA Chester Marathon event to the Run Your Way - 2022 MBNA Chester Marathon event. You can complete the event at anytime between 2nd October - 31st October 2022. As per our terms and conditions, your race place is non refundable or transferable should you decide you no longer want to take part in the virtual race and want to cancel your entry; or, if we as the event organiser postpone or cancel the main physical event. We do not offer deferrals for any event.
