2024 MBNA Chester 10K

Join us at the MBNA Chester 10K - 10th March 2024

The MBNA Chester 10K is the only city based 10K in Chester. Don't miss your chance to start your 2024 Chester Triple Medal journey. The 7th edition of this multi-award winning and sell out event is a great introductory race for new runners and an ideal stepping stone if you're aiming for a half marathon in the future.

We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry, which is why we have partnered with the West Cheshire Foodbank to ask all race participants to bring along an item of canned food to donate at our collection point, near Help Desk, on race day – every can helps!

The event boasts a lively city centre start and finish, with a route that passes many of Chester's iconic landmarks. Runners will head north-west out of the City, through the picturesque village of Mollington before returning to the heart of Chester for a spectacular finish, with all the enthusiasm you could ask for from the Cestrian supporters, under a backdrop of the Eastgate Clock.

You can choose which Start Wave you would like to start in during the entry process. It is important you start at the correct time for your wave.

Once you have entered you can transfer your place to another runner, however you cannot transfer to any other event or defer to another year and there are no refunds. The minimum age on race day is 15.

If you decide you no longer want to take part and want to cancel your entry into the event, as per our terms and conditions your race place is non refundable and we do not offer deferrals. 

You can always transfer your race place to someone else, free of charge any time before the event, by using the official transfer process outlined in your entry confirmation email. Race places are not transferable between different events or years.

If you enter as a Green Runner and wish to transfer your place, the new runner will also become a Green Runner. They will not be able to change this.

If we, as the event organiser, have to make the decision to postpone or cancel our event(s), we will make every reasonable effort to notify you and your race place will automatically be deferred free of charge, to the next scheduled race date for that event.
