The 2027 Wrexham Half Marathon, provisionally on 28th February, will be the inaugural running of this race, brought to you by the award winning organisers of the Chester 10K, Half and Marathon.
The event is within easy walking distance of the city centre, with a start and finish at Queensway Athletics Stadium, a route that takes in the surrounding Welsh countryside and tons of support to cheer you on.
The new Wrexham Half Marathon and Wrexham 10K following on in September 2027, promise to bring the same world-class organisation, vibrant atmosphere, and premium finisher experience that has made the Chester Triple Series a sell-out success and a three-time winner of the UK's Best Marathon award. Runners of all abilities are welcome.

Once you have entered you can transfer your place to another runner, however you cannot transfer to any other event or defer to another year and there are no refunds. The minimum age on race day is 17.
Run under UK Athletics Rules and measured by the AUKCM
We understand that sometimes issues outside of your control occur and you may be unable, or no longer want to take part. In these circumstances we offer you the ability to transfer your race entry to someone else free of charge by using the official transfer process outlined in your event confirmation email, any time before the event. All transfers must be actioned by you through the on-line registration site.
If you enter as Green Runner and wish to transfer your place, the new runner will also become a Green Runner. They will not be able to change this.
Refund Protect Insurance Policies can be selected during the online entry process, and they can give you a refund in the event you are unable to attend the event for a variety of reasons, please see the Refund Protect Terms and Conditions on the entry page for more details.
As per our terms and conditions your race place is non refundable and we do not offer deferrals, entries are not transferable between different entry types, or different events or years.
If we, as the event organiser, have to make the decision to postpone or cancel our event(s), we will make every reasonable effort to notify you and your race place will automatically be deferred free of charge, to the next scheduled race date for that event.
