The Essar Chester 2020 Half Marathon starts at the famous Racecourse in the city centre, taking in the city centre sights then heading north-west out of the City on wide roads allowing runners to rapidly settle into the race, before returning back into the City for a memorable finish outside the Town Hall and Cathedral. Drinks stations, with bottled water, will be every 3 miles. There will be chip timing with splits at 5k, 10k, 15k and 20k. All finishers will receive a technical T-shirt, bespoke medal and a goody bag.
